Free Things to Do At Disney Springs with Kids
We love Disney and we love free! When you put those 2 things together you get Disney Springs, once known as Downtown Disney. Disney Springs is one of our favorite places to go as a family. There is so much to do and see there without even spending a penny! Yep, you heard that right. A Disney “park” that’s 100% free. Of course you can spend money if you decide to (eating at restaurants, buying drinks, buying merchandise) but if you just want to get the kids out of the house and experience some Disney magic, head on over to Disney Springs.

Here are some things to do with kids at Disney Springs that wont cost you a penny:

Dig Dino Bones at T-Rex Cafe:
Being a mom of 3 boys, they live and breathe dinosaurs. So any opportunity to feel like a real archaeologist they’re all for it. At T-Rex cafe, they have a play area for the kids that consists of a huge gravel box (like a sand box) but there are din bones underneath the gravel. They provide the brushes, and the kids can uncover some of history’s largest dinosaur bones. And if you’re worried about germs, they also have a sink and handsanitizer to keep those tiny fingers clean! Also, it’s a nice spot to cool off in, they have fans constantly blowing.
Where is it located?

It’s caddy-corner with Paddlefish (the big boat restaurant in the water), and next to The Lego Store
Play and build things at The Lego Store:
Let your little one’s imaginations run wild at the The Lego Store! They have lego tables inside the store and outside of the store, so your little ones can build whatever they can with Legos (you can’t take the legos home). I remember when I was little this was one of my favorite things to do at Disney Springs.

Dance and Sing at the DJ dance party:
My boys love this one! Over at the far end of Disney Springs, they have a DJ set up with an open dance floor so your kiddos can dance and sing their little hearts our to today’s and yesterdays’s latest tunes.

Listen to live music/entertainment:
Throughout Disney Springs they have live music and entertainment being performed. Just walking from point A to point B, you’ll never what kind of performer you’ll see! Click here to see all the live entertainment options.
Let kids get squirted with water by Stitch:
On top the World of Disney sign is a huge Stitch (like from Lilo and Stitch) that squirts water out of his mouth. Seems so pointless, and boring, but kids love it! It’s not a lot of water so don’t worry about needing to bring a change a clothes, but its enough for the kiddos to have a blast!
