Our Stay at Hilton West Palm Beach
Thank you Hilton West Palm Beach for hosting our family. All thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

At the beginning of this month we made a surprise trip to West Palm Beach for my best friend’s birthday. My best friend and I have been besties since we were 7. Now at 26 years old, she is pregnant with her first baby and she’s a girl! Being as pregnant a she is, she can’t really do much anymore, so for her birthday she wasn’t expecting anything. Her husband reached out to me to see if we’d be able to come down and surprise her for her birthday! OF COURSE- I said. Watch below to see her reaction when we showed up!
The only issue for us with driving 3 hours south, is doing it with kids and finding a good hotel that accommodates all of us, is clean sleek and updated, and is reasonably priced (for South Florida). But we knew immediately we’d be staying at the Hilton West Palm Beach. Back in October when Laila was only 3 weeks old, we stayed there for our first family weekend getaway. We had such an amazing time, and loved the hotel, the staff, the pool and the food-especially breakfast.
If you’re looking for a hotel to stay at in West Palm or South Florida, look no further. I’m going to share all about our stay and some more information about the hotel.

Our Stay:
Our room:
Upon arrival we were greeted by the amazing Valet team, and most faces we recognized from our previous stay 8 months prior. That to me says a lot because it shows it’s a place people like to work at and want to stay at.
Anyways, after we were all checked in, we went up to our room, and we had the city view (not the pool view this time) but I honestly loved this view more! Both beautiful. They had a movie playing for the kids when we walked in, along with 5 other movies for them to choose from. Floaties awaiting them for our pool day, and lots of snacks for them to munch on throughout our stay!
Our room was so big, and gave the kids plenty of room to run around, but also the right amount of separation for all of us to unwind in the evening without worrying about waking them up should we decide to watch TV until midnight, or when Laila wakes up hungry in the middle of night.
The bathroom was massive. There was a private room for the toilet, a huge walk in shower, double sink, and a makeup vanity with it’s own light. If you’re a girl, that’s a game changer.
The main bedroom was huge as well! On top of the King Sized bed, there was an entire sofa in there, and plenty of space for Laila’s crib!
Hotel Food:
First night we ate at the Hotel’s restaurant called Galley. The aesthetic and vibe there is a bloggers dream. And the food did not disappoint! My husband was in heaven with all their menu options. And basically anything the kids wanted to eat, they whipped together, and brought it out quickly because when kids are hungry, no one can enjoy themselves.
Appetizer:
- Beef Empanada with Chimichurri Aioli
- Guava Chipotle BBQ Ribs with Cabbage and Jimaca Slaw and Shallots
- Paella Egg Roll with Aji Amarillo Crema and Guacamole
Main Course:
- 8 oz Filet Mignon with Grilled Asparagus (mine)
- 20 oz Bone in Ribeye with Grilled Asparagus (My husband’s)
Breakfast:
I didn’t take any pictures from breakfast. But it was a gourmet hot breakfast buffet. With an attended omelet station where you can create any omelet you want and it’s cooked to order right in front of you. There is an assortment of different cold items including fruit, yogurt, and fancy parfaits. Your dry breakfast items including cereal, bread for toast, muffins, bagels and donuts. And of course the hot food, pancakes, waffles, sausage (turkey and pork), bacon, potatoes, oatmeal and grits. There is something for everyone, even the pickiest eaters.
Things to do around the resort:
You truly don’t even need to leave the hotel. There are so many games and activities to keep your little ones entertained. When we stayed here back in October this is what got us. The kids love being outside, so having an area they can just play and run around (aka tire themselves out) was everything to us.
Yard games:
Love corn hole? Love connect four? then you’re in luck! Whether you’re playing with the kids, or getting competitive with your spouse, Hilton West Palm Beach got ya covered!
Resort Style Pool:
This is the kids’ favorite part about the hotel. Their pool. Their is a beach style entrance to the pool so my scary 2 year old who hates going in water can sit and play!
I should warn ya, on Saturdays the pool can be a little crowded due to the south beach style pool party, with DJ. However, that doesn’t bother us one bit! I actually love it. Makes us feel like we’re REALLY on vacation. But if you want a more lowkey vibe, then come to the pool after 5pm (when the party is over) or any other day of the week. See below, you can see the amount of people in the pool behind me. However, this part of the pool is typically empty, that’s where the kids hang!
Here are some more pictures from our stay, hopefully they make you want to book your next vacation immediately.
Thank you again to Hilton West Palm Beach for hosting our family for my best friend’s surprise birthday weekend. It’s always a good time when we visit!
