Laila’s 4 month update

4 MONTHS|| I can’t even deal. Our sweet Laila girl is 4 months old and this is not okay! I know I’m really getting ahead of myself, but I’m already planning her first birthday party which is crazy to say. But tomorrow she’ll be 6 months, the next day she’ll be walking and then BAM it’s her first birthday. Why do the newborn days fly by (and the terrible twos last 6 years)?

This past month we’ve learned more and more about Laila girl, she’s developing a little personality and is stealing everyone’s hearts (and all daddy’s money #bowsarelife). I can’t wait to see how much she’ll grow and learn this month!

Age: 4 months

Weight: 15lbs even.

Length: No clue! She has a peds appointment tomorrow, so I’ll update this!

Size diaper: Size 2, she can be a 3 but I’m letting her finish the rest of this pack.

Size clothes: Size 6 months now!

Sleep: so she has her nights. Some days she sleeps from 9-5, and other days she wakes up every 2 hours wanting to nurse. According to the wonder weeks app, she is going through another developmental leap, so that can be causing the extra fussiness. And since she doesn’t take a pacifier, my boob is her comfort.

Breastfeeding schedule?: She is still exclusively nursing (no bottle and no pacis)! She nurses every 3 hours.

Milestones: She can roll over from front to back like a pro, and from back to front (she’s still working on this one, but she does do it!). Also this month she got her first cold (bronchiolitis) but beat it like a champ, she was only sick for 2 days!

What she loves: She loves being held. She loves watching her brothers play. She loves listening to me talk. And she loves breastfeeding.

What she hates: She hates when the car stops moving. She hates pacifiers and bottles. (Nothing has changed)

Favorites for this month: Baby Bling still! She loves her Ryan and Rose teether/rattle and she loves Sophie the Giraffe. She’s also been loving lovey blankets, and sucking on the corners. Hopefully this will act as her pacifier soon because this mama needs a break!
