Back To School Outfit Ideas For Boys

This Entire week, I’ve taken pictures of RJ before school and shared them on my instagram stories every morning. I got so much feed back from my followers asking where his outfit is from, or how good I dress the boys for school. So instead of sending individual links every single time someone asks where something is from, I’m doing a weekly roundup post of all this outfits, and where everything can be purchased with shop-able links.

And in no way am I a fashion blogger, but I’m just a mama who likes to dress her kids and photograph the cuteness. My kids absolutely love taking pictures, so I’ll do this for as long as they let me, and as long as I have time. So this is an indefinite series!

Day 1:

Shirt/Shorts/Shoes/Socks

This outfit is one of my favorites, it’s a clean cut sporty look. Although we mixed brands, Adidas shirt and Nike Shoes, its still a cute look! The socks that I linked are my absolute favorite! They’re athletic socks that keep his feet dry (he has sweaty feet, which mean stinky shoes).

Day 2:

Shirt/Shorts/Shoes/Socks

I had to beg him to even put these shorts on because he said “they’re pink” and I said “no it’s coral, not pink. and so what?! Boys can wear whatever color they want!” After he put on his outfit, he said “mommy, I look good. I like these shorts now”

Day 3:

Shirt (from Old Navy but no longer sold online)/Shorts/Camo Shoes

Another one of my favorites, I just love how everything matches!

Day 4:

Shirt (from OshKosh B’gosh, no longer sold online)|Shorts|Shoes/Socks

This outfit was all him. He put it together himself, and I’d say he did a great job matching!

Day 5:

Shirt (no longer sold online at Oldnavy)|Shorts| Shoes

“LA LA LA LA LA, Waste your time with me in California” that’s the song I thought of when I put this outfit together. If you don’t know what song I’m talking about, listen to it here

So there we have it folks, this was RJ’s look book for the first week of school. Dressing boys is so much fun, and coming up with different outfit combinations with different shorts, sneakers, shirts! As you can see, almost everything was purchased from Old Navy and Target, so that means each look costs less than $15 (aside from sneakers).
