Review of the Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach

Thank you Hard Rock Daytona For hosting our family. Although sponsored, all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

2 weeks ago our family went on one last summer vacation for the summer. We decided to keep it local and visit our closest beach, which is Daytona Beach. It’s one of our favorite beaches simply because there are a lot of things to do in the Daytona Area, the beaches are clean, and again, its super close to us. Daytona’s newest Hotel is Hard Rock Daytona , which is EXACTLY what Daytona needed. A lot of the hotels that are right on the beach have been there for years, so it was exciting to hear about Hard Rock.

I’ve visited the Hard Rock in Orlando, and Tampa, and loved the vibe and aesthetic so I was excited to visit the Hard Rock in Daytona Beach.

Before I start blabbering, down at the VERY bottom, I share a promo code to save you 20% off your stay, and 2 free kids meals!!

AMENITIES

OUR ROOM

Hard Rock Daytona Beach Rock Royalty 1 Bedroom Suite

We got the Rock Royalty Suite-1 Bedroom Suite. We had a private entrance to our room, super official!

There was plenty space for all of us to stretch out. When you first walk in, there is a small dining room table, and powder room (toilet and sink), as you keep walking there is a living area with an aesthetically pleasing sofa bed, and flat screen tv with a swivel mount. Surrounding all of this, is floor to ceiling windows, and sliding glass doors that led to the patio which had spectacular views of Daytona Beach.

As you continue walking through the suite, there is a grand hallway to the Master Bedroom and Bathroom. In the master bathroom, there is a soaking tub, vanity, toilet (duhh) and a stand up shower with 2 shower heads (rain showered, and handheld shower head). It was luxurious!

Once you finally make it into the Master Bedroom, there was SO MUCH SPACE! We had a playpen set up on one side of the bed, and there was still so much space. On the other side of the bed were floor to ceiling windows that overlooked Atlantic Avenue!

Our bedroom was more than what I expected, and exactly what we all needed. The kids were able to run around and be kids, all while my husband and I relaxed!

DINING

Constant Grind: With bistro seating for a quick refuel, Constant Grind is the quintessential café experience with hot and cold drinks, quick bites, house-made gelato, and more. We loved this little cafe for quick bites for the kids to avoid any epic meltdowns. Before we departed the hotel, we loaded up with a delicious cold brew!

Wave Terrace- Ocean Front Beach Bar: On the third floor of Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach, facing an incredible oceanfront stage, that’s exactly what we do.

Wave Terrace is Daytona Beach’s newest experience, where local beer, craft cocktails, and a seafood-inspired menu of ceviche, gazpacho, seafood towers, and more are served in a chic, casual atmosphere of glowing fire pits and live music.

Sessions: Of all Daytona Beach restaurants on the beach, Sessions is most well-known for its rock-star style and panoramic Atlantic Ocean views. As the Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach restaurant, meals there will exceed your expectations, from an unforgettable breakfast, lunch, or dinner to craft cocktails and libations at the indoor/outdoor bar.

We ate there for breakfast and dinner, and both meals did not disappoint one single bit.

Breakfast

  • I ordered Spicy Wings and Waffles, which is Chicken Wings, Waffles, and Siracha Maple Syrup. I asked the cook to swap out my chicken wings with Boneless wings. I’m part of the minority who hates bone in wings.
  • My husband ordered Country Breakfast- 2 Fried Eggs, Buttermilk Biscuits, Sausage Gravy, Grits Corned Beef Hash
  • The kids all ordered Chocolate Chip Pancakes from the kids’ menu!
  • We also ordered Coffee and a side of Parmesan Hash

Total Price for breakfast was a little under $70

We had awesome service and the General Manager was personally walking around table to table greeting the guests. That to me says a lot, management cares!

Dinner

We loved dinner at Sessions. Because it was such a beautiful evening, we decided to dine outside. I’m joking, we dined outside because there was immediate seating. However, the weather was beautiful and the ocean views were breathtaking.

  • I ordered the sessions burger-with bacon and avocado added on. This was amazing. I always order my burgers medium, and they NAILED it. I like to call myself a burger connoisseur. Whenever we go to new restaurants, I ALWAYS order a burger (or steak)!
  • Renaldo ordered the 14oz Ribeye with a side of Asparagus. I took a couple bites from his entree and the steak just melted in my mouth! Excellent job
  • The kids of course got Chicken Tenders and Fries, and RJ got a Cheese Burger.

WHAT WE DID AROUND THE RESORT

We went exploring the first day at the resort, and could not believe how much history is in the hotel. All throughout the resort are different clothing items from iconic musicians. I saw The Beach Boys’ shirt, Michael Jackson’s shirt, and Taylor Swift’ Swim Suit, and there was so much more!

The next day, after we ate of course, we spent ALL DAY at the kiddie pool. We loved this area of the resort because the water is suited for children, not deep at all and has a little splash pad, water fountain area! We hung out in a covered cabana with a fan, which are available for rental. The kids didn’t want to leave the pool at all but we didn’t mind because on Saturdays they have a DJ that comes out to the hotel and plays the best music.

Also right by the kiddie pool area is a bar! This bar is a hidden gem because it’s a little further away from everything else, so it’s not as crowded as the main bar!

After we bribed to get the kids out of the pool, we ended the evening at the beach. The beach is literally steps away from he hotel, so you’re able to quickly go into the water and back to the pool as you please.

After the beach we headed upstairs back to our suite, showered all the kids, and let Joel take a power nap because homeboy was TIRED. Once our 2 year old woke up, we went downstairs for dinner at Sessions, where they had live music playing. This hotel truly is paradise, right in Daytona Beach.

We absolutely loved our stay and plan on making this our go-to staycation resort. Our room was accommodating for a large family like ours. I prefer luxury travel, and this hotel gave me JUST THAT. food was on point. Location was spot on. And our service was like no other. When we left Hard Rock, my kids were literally crying because they didn’t want to leave. I mean my 2 year old was literally on the floor of the hotel entrance crying, while we waited for Valet to pull our car up.

If you’re looking for a GOOD RESORT to stay at in Daytona, that’s on the beach that checks off all your boxes, look no further than the Hard Rock Daytona Beach.
