Epcot International Festival of The Holidays
Thank you Walt Disney World, for hosting me to experience a preview of the International Festival of the Holidays. All thoughts and opinions are my own!
I don’t think I can say this enough, Christmas at Disney is like no other. I blogged about Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, The New Holiday Entertainment And Decor at Animal Kingdom, and now I’ll be talking about the new Holiday food, drinks and entertainment at Epcot. The Food & Wine Festival is officially done so that means Epcot is preparing for the next big thing!
Last week Friday I was invited to attend a special media preview of everything Epcot will be offering at the International Festival of the Holidays. This special event was super exclusive, and it wasn’t like a normal family media day that I’m used to attending. It was for me only, with one employee-my husband lol. Unfortunately he was unable to attend because our babysitter canceled on us, so he ended up enjoying the final bits of the Food & Wine Festival with the kids while this mama sampled food, took pictures with goofy, and drank war spiced wine- ahem, I mean, while this mama worked 😉

So enough of my blabbering, here are my top 5 exciting things coming to Epcot International Festival of the Holidays
ONE.
FOOD!!! I love good food, that’s why we spent so much time at the Food & Wine festival. So any opportunity to snack on some festive foods from other countries, the Bonnaire Fam is here for it. At the festival I sampled a few items, and my favorites were from….

- Yukon Holiday Kitchen: Canadian wild Rice and Ham Soup with Almonds served with a Pretzel Roll.
- Bavaria Holiday Kitchen: Pork Schnitzel with Mushroom Sauce and Spatzle
- L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen: Potato Latkes with Sour Cream

TWO.
Drinks!! Now that I’m not pregnant, nor run the potential to ever be again, I can drink freely again. So that means I can actually take part in the drinks during the festival. A few of my favorites are….

- Bavaria Holiday Kitchen: Glühwein-House made Hot Spiced Wine. This one was really good. I’m not a big wine drinker-like at all, and this was GOOD!
- L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen: Shmaltz Brewing Company Chanukah Hanukkah Pass the Beer (from Clifton Park, NY) : So I’m a beer girl, and a sucker for good craft beers, and this one checks off all my boxes! A nice dark beer that wasn’t too heavy!
- T.G. Lee Eggnog with Spiced Rum: Love Egg Nog? Love rum- I don’t. But these two together is magic
THREE.
Living with The Land-Merry and Bright Nights: The iconic daytime ride is opening up its doors at night for a fun and festive experience. The beautiful plants were delicately and tastefully decorated for the season, and there were even snowmen!! We were one of the first to experience this, and boy was it cool! We were definitely surprised at every corner.
FOUR.
Things to do for everyone in the family. Epcot is truly a park for everyone. Whether you just want to taste and drink things from all around the world, or a thrill seeker wanting to ride test track or blast out of this world in Mission Space. But what I’m loving are all the different activities and entertainment they have this holiday season, but my favorite was…
- JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season: Experience the joy of Christmas and Kwanzaa through the Gospel, R&B and holiday songs of a spectacular vocal ensemble.

FIVE.
Merchandise!!! My husband may be rolling his eyes that this made the list, but y’all know I’m a sucker for Disney Merchandise. I’m at like 12 Minnie ears, and just started a spirit jersey obsession. And guess what? Chip n’ dale now has a brand new holiday line of Disney gear. Unfortunately I was unable to get any pictures because I spent all my time snacking and posing with goofy.

Dates: November 29th- December 30th
Price: A normal Disney admission ticket (or annual pass) grants you access to the festival. No special ticket required.
Kid Friendly? Absolutely, all the normal rides and attractions are up and running. So if your child already loves Epcot, they’ll love it even more with all the holiday activities they have!
