Ergobaby Metro Compact City Stroller Review
This post was sponsored by Ergobaby, but all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

If you’re reading this you’re probably looking into buying the Ergobaby Metro Compact City Stroller. Thankfully we had the opportunity to try out this stroller for a fun filled weekend at Disney World, and really put it to the test. If you don’t know me, we have 4 kids and 2 of them are out of strollers, but the younger 2 are still in it. We decided to just take one stroller to Disney world, and hope it all worked out.
What stood out to me about this stroller is the 14 pound, one handed fold, compact design which was perfect for hopping on and off the trams at Disney World, and for all of our travels we have booked in the coming weeks and months. It’s perfect for families on the go, or minimalist families who don’t need all the extras traditional strollers offer.
More info on the stroller:
- Useable from birth to 40pounds: For reference, my 2 year old is 32 pounds.
- When Folded: It is able to fit most airline overhead bins
- Ergonomic for baby: Side support, Lumbar padding, adjustable leg rest with full rest position option.
- One hand fold: Easily fold the stroller while holding your baby
- Smooth ride suspension: Gentle suspension and large shock-absorbing PU rear tires
- Lightweight: Only weighing 13.9 pounds
- Ample storage: Large storage basket underneath the stroller, and a hidden pocket behind the seat
- Removable and machine washable seat pad: Perfect for diaper leaks
- Large UV-50 sun canopy
- Coverable mesh panel: Great for added ventilation for hot summer days.
How we liked it at Disney World:
If you know our family, or follow us on Instagram you know that we are a Disney Family. We visit the parks frequently, so we have run into a lot of issues throughout the years while using other strollers. What we loved about Ergobaby Metro Stroller was how easily it can be folded. So hopping onto the tram instead of making what feels like a 6 mile trek through the parking lot, is now do-able. I quickly took Laila out of the stroller, put her on my hip and folded the stroller up in less than 30 seconds. Within 15 minutes of being in the stroller we noticed her dozing off, so we reclined her seat completely and she took a nice nap. We were pleasantly surprised with how soft and cushiony the stroller was. It’s a compact stroller a baby actually wants to sleep in.

How we made one stroller work with 4 kids:
So like I mentioned before, we have 4 kids, and only the younger 2 are still in a stroller. So we decided to let Joel walk holding our hand because 85% of the time, he cries and screams to walk with his brothers. Once we noticed he was getting a little tired, and slowing us down, we decided to baby wear Laila and put Joel (who is under 40 pounds) in the stroller. I probably wouldn’t do that again because it was a lot of work getting him to walk with us, and hold our hand. So we will probably end up getting another Ergobaby Metro Compact Stroller just for him, especially since we have 4 trips planned this year.

All in all, we love this stroller and this is definitely my go-to stroller for Disney trips and even for preschool drop off. No more lugging big 30+ pound strollers in and out of the car only for one child.

Thank you Ergobaby Metro Stroller for sponsoring this post| As always, all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
