My Favorite Women Owned Small Shops

As a woman, who is running a business, I love to support other women. Since becoming a blogger and really getting into Instagram I’ve discovered so many new shops. Of course I do all my major shopping at Target, because they basically own my soul, but when it comes to clothing, accessories and textiles, we’re all all about the small shops…Women Owned that is.

Anyways, enough of my blabbering, here are my favorite Women Owned Small shops broken down by category.

Clothing:

  1. Swanky Shank: This is the amazing shop that creates Laila’s adorable monthly onesies. All of her shirts are hand sewn, with love. I personally have built an amazing relationship with Jen (the owner and creator of Swanky Shank) and she has such a beautiful heart, plus she’s adopting my 2 year old for the entire summer, sooooooo I kind of have to like her lol.But really, she’s so creative I’m amazed by every design, pun, quote she comes up with!Shoot, even the GIFs she uses in her Instagram stories are spot on! I just love her!Use my promo code ASEKY  to save 20% on some Swank!
  2. June and January: I am in love with the fun colors from J&J!! If you’re into fun and bright, this shop is for you. I typically keep Laila in muted colors (White, tan, grey and pink) so I am a fan of June and January for our Disney Days!June and January started on a kitchen table in Brooklyn NY,by mom and CEO Amy!
  3. Cozys: They make the coziest jammies and blankets ever!! We first got a knotted gown from them, and from that moment on it was love. Mattiyson, the mom behind the brand, created Cozys blankets to help fund her and her husband’s journey to become parents. They had to endure rounds of IVF,and with every purchase they are able to save for future children.
  4. Childhood Clothing: Amazing quality! Laila has a summer pajama set and romper from them, and we have washed them 10x already and they still look like the day we first got it! This company was started by a mom who started off  making tiny baby hoodies as baby shower gifts, working during nap-time and at odd hours of the night and from then on her company has evolved in to what it is now!
  5. L’ovedBaby: We brought Laila home in a footie from L’ovedBaby and it’s our absolute favorite. She was a teeny tiny babe, and their clothing was the only brand that fit her right at birth. She would kick her feet, and her feet would actually stay in the footie instead of sliding up. If I had an unlimited budget, I’d order every color in every size! This company was created by a mom named Sharen Oved who wanted to make a nursing cover that’s functional and stylish, from then on her company has grown to carrying a full on clothing line!

Accessories:

  1. Ryan and RosePacifier Clips, Pacifiers, Teethers: I’ve been in love and obsessed with Ryan and Rose since Elias (my almost 4 year old) was a baby! This is a brand I’ve loved and supported since I got into Instagram. Lindsey, the owner and creator of Ryan and Rose is seriously the sweetest, and a total mom boss. She does it all, and holds the house down while running her business. In her shop you’ll find Paci clips, her own designed pacifier (cutie pat), teethers/rattles, utensils, and more. Once you buy one, you’ll fall in love..or just watch her stories…you’ll fall in love!
  2. Baby BlingBows: We’re obsessed with Baby Bling. I mean were at over 100 bows with no plans on stopping. These bows can be worn at 1 day old all the way until elementary school. They’re one size fits all! This is a Mom&Mom shop, ran by 3 moms who know exactly what baby girl’s need. They make bows they would use for their daughters, comfortable and stylish! 3. Freshly PickedMoccasins/Shoes/Diaper Bags: Another one of my biggest obsessions. Laila girl is at 20 some shoes now, not counting the 3 that are in route as  I type this (don’t tell my husband). The owner and Creator of this company is named Susan (she also follows me BTW, No big deal haha), she made her first Moccasin on her kitchen table with scrap leather and a sewing machine. She appeared on Shark Tank in 2013, and from then on she’s only grown!!
  4. Poppy Lane & Co. Bracelets: What’s cuter than baby bracelets? Nothing!! This company was started by a Stacy, who hand makes each and every bracelet! That to me is so special, because when Laila wears hers, I know a mom put

    her love into it!

  5. Heart + Kinder–Clothes and Wood items: One of my favorites!! Laila’s wooden gym that she absolutely adores came from this women owned shop all the way in Canada!
  6. Little Stocking Co. –Tights, socks: Laila’s adorable cable knit tights are from this best friend owned shop in Portland, Oregon. We only own 4 so far, but for sure we will be stocking up before winter!
  7. Moss and MarshBibs, Bath items, more: This company was one of my first partnerships EVER, like before I was even parterning with companies. I was a brand rep for them back when Joel was an itty bitty baby, and we have been fans ever since.Candace takes pride in her handmade products, made start to finish in Savannah Georgia!

Well there you have it, those are my top Women Owned Small Shops, that I love to support and you should too!! Thank you so much for reading!!
