RJ’s TRANSFORMERS Birthday Party

I can’t even believe I’m writing a post sharing details of RJ’s 7th birthday!! I have a 7-year-old, y’all. Cue the tears.
So we had 2 parties for RJ; the first one was on his actual birthday with just his cousins and his best friend over, and the next one was with his friends and family at a local Go-Karting track. But, when we asked RJ what kind of party he wanted, he said TRANSFORMERS. So how perfect is it that he asked for that, and it’s also the TRANSFORMERS 35th Anniversary?!
It’s been 35 years since TRANSFORMERS made its way into homes! That’s older than me! TRANSFORMERS includes shows, movies, toys, and more that my husband and my brothers grew up watching, and now my boys enjoy it with my husband. It truly holds a special spot in our hearts. When my brother and my husband’s brother arrived at our house, they were instantly brought back to their childhood.
We had toys all laid out on the floor that not only the kids could play with, but the big kids-aka my husband, his brother and my brother. With all that being said, we clearly love TRANSFORMERS, so what better way to celebrate the 35th anniversary than having a TRANSFORMERS birthday party!
THE PARTY DECOR
We pretty much stayed true to the theme and kept everything TRANSFORMERS. We coordinated the cupcake colors with their colors, had party hats for not just the kids, but the adults, too, and lots of party favors to keep little ones occupied.
THE GOODIE BAG
Within the goodie bags, we gave the kids stickers, bubbles, a party blower, treats, pack of candy, and temporary tattoos. We also sent each child home with a pack of crayons and a coloring book. I never like to put out crayons and coloring books during the party because there will be crayons everywhere-including my walls.
THE TRANSFORMERS TOYS
We received like 5 new TRANSFORMERS robots, and we gave them to RJ before the party started so he could play with them with his cousins and friends. I would say that was definitely a hit because the boys were having a blast converting them!
ACTIVITIES FOR THE KIDS
They played with the TRANSFORMERS toys, played hide and seek, and played a few new video games that RJ got for his birthday.
So that was RJ’s 35th Anniversary TRANSFORMERS Birthday party! He had an absolute blast and everyone had a good time.
