What’s One More Cheers To Baby Number Four
Renaldo and I are so excited to announce we are EXPECTING our 4th (and final) baby. We are so overwhelmed with excitement and joy! God has entrusted us with another healthy baby. We have always wanted 4 kids, and always wanted our kids close in age.
This is something we have been praying for, for the last couple months and God answered!
Having babies with this man is a breeze when he’s the best father, best husband, best provider and best cheerleader. You won’t believe how much easier parenting is when both parents are equally involved and on the same page.
12 week Bump-date:
Gender: We don’t know yet. But we had a blood test, and will find out in exactly 7 days!
Weight/weight gain: 118lbs, total gained 3ish/4ish pounds. But I think it has more to do with the extra carbs I’ve been consuming.
Baby is the size of a: Plum
Maternity clothes: Nope!
Stretch Marks: Nope! I never got any with my other 3. So crossing fingers I luck out this time around!
Cravings: Eh, I don’t think so. I just love food, so any craving I have, I just associate with me being me.
Sleep: I sleep amazing now that I have a Nectar Sleep Mattress. Prior to that, I slept like crap.
Movement: I thought I felt something the other day, but it was just gas. #iAteTooMuchCheese
How am I feeling: In the beginning I was sooo sick. BUT not throwing up sick, more like if I let myself get hungry, I feel nauseous for the rest of the day-type sick.
Still breastfeeding Joel: yep! We’re down to 2 times a day. Nap time and before bed.
Now because you all are wondering, Do we want a girl? We didn’t get pregnant with the intentions to try for a girl. We got pregnant with the intentions to have a healthy 4th baby.
Here are some other Questions you may be asking yourself…
Was this baby planned? Was and wasn’t. My husband and I have been praying that God would bless us with the final one when his timing was correct. We weren’t trying, but we weren’t NOT trying. We kind of just said, whenever it happens, it happens.
How will they all fit in your car? We have a 7 passenger SUV. A 2017 Nissan pathfinder. So they actually fit perfectly, car seats and all.
Are you going to keep working? The plan is to work until the I deliver, and have all my paychecks until then deposited into a savings account. And then become a full time mama and blogger from then on. Thankfully my husband’s job and the income I bring in from my blog allows that. Ever since I was young, it has been my dream to be a stay at home mom. Now I’ll be doing that, while building my blog/brand! But I need to continue working until my due date because I have really good maternity coverage with my insurance through my job.
But aren’t they so expensive? Yes they are, but so are 75 inch TVs, 5 course 5 star dinners every week, and lavish vacations. There is nothing wrong with enjoying the finer things in life, because we do! It’s about spending money on what’s important to you, and saving money at the same time. We have one nice SUV that holds all of us, and one older car that my husband drives to work. Sure my husband can upgrade his car, but he doesn’t care to have the newest 2 door car right now. Instead we choose to save that money, or spend it on Disney or fun family vacations. But that’s just us, not judging ANYONE on their spending choices!
How do you know this is the last baby? I’ve already confirmed it with my OB/GYN that I’m getting my tubes tied at 6 weeks post partum. So we are REALLY closing shop!
Isn’t life crazy with 3 kids already? Sure is, and this mama LOVES it.
Why four? Ever since we were 15 we said when ever we’d get married, we would have 4 kids.
Why so close together? Sounds pretty blunt, but we rather just get knock em’ out and be done. As crazy as it is, we have children all pretty much in the same stages of life. When RJ is in high school I won’t be dealing with a preschooler. They will all be 2 grades apart from each other.
Are you all going to get a bigger house? Are you crazy, this housing market is nuts! Home prices keep going higher and higher. Right now our house works for us, and will work for us for at least another 5 years. and plus we just renovated it, I’m emotionally attached to it.
Why have so many kids so young? We got started when I was 19, and like I said before, We’ve always wanted them close in age! And plus, when I’m 37 RJ (my oldest) will be going to college, and when I’m 43 my youngest will be going to college! We’ll be young empty nesters!!
Hope that answers any questions that you may have! If you have anymore questions, please feel free to ask, I’m very transparent!
