Laila’s First Birthday Photoshoot

Can you believe our little Laila girl is one? I still can’t!! Well for awhile I went back and forth on where we would do our photos, but one day I posted one of my maternity photoshoot pics, and immediately thought…”I should recreate these photos”. So we headed back to the same beach and tried to recreate our pics to the best of our abilities-well as best as we could with a busy one year old.

About our photographer:

Her name is Jenna, and she’s a freaking creative goddess. I’ve followed her on instagram for so long, and have always admired her creativity from her baby mama dancing video that basically went viral, to all her fun photos of her adorable kiddos. She then started taking pics of her family, and after seeing one of my friend’s photoshoots done by her, I was convinced she’s our new photographer! She’s a perfectionist, who is serious about her work and basically won’t let you leave the photoshoot location until she knows she got some beautiful family shots. And even after editing the photos, she kept making sure we loved them and if there was a shot we didn’t get that we may have wanted, she was more than willing to go back and retake them. I love her dedication to her work, and how much pride she takes in good work!
